Vivo Xshot Armored with Amazing Cameras Goes Official in China


One of the biggest phone-makers in China, Vivo took the wraps off from the newest amazing smartphone with slick design and awesome capabilities, the Vivo Xshot. The hands enters the arena of the advanced camera-based smartphones. The Xshot is outfitted with a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1080p. It provides an excellent performance thanks to the Snapdragon 801 powerful chip working under the hood paired with 3GB RAM. The company is preparing a slightly more affordable model equipped with Snapdragon 800 chip and 2GB RAM. It has 16GB of native storage.

The Vivo Xshot is powered by the latest platform of Google, Android 4.4 KitKat. The company has added its own features and tweaks in the Funtouch OS user interface. The most astonishing feature of the new flagship is its camera. Xshot assures a 13MP Sony-made sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. The LED flash is dual-tone. The camera provides a two-stage shutter button which is rather impressive for a smartphone. On the front side of the device is set an 8MP sensor with 8MP. The main 13MP camera boasts a wide range of capabilities such as 4K video recording. The camera app is well stuffed with features for more fulfilling user experience and picture quality.
The battery in the Xshot is a 2600mAh cell. It supports all kinds of connectivity features, including LTE.

Vivo Xshot is announced in China. The company has not expressed plans to introduce it worldwide for now. The more powerful version of the phone with Snapdragon 801 chip comes for $560 while the model with Snapdragon 800 costs $480. It will be up-for-sales later this month.
