In the
beginning of the summer Google unveiled the new platform Android L. The name is
not the official title of the update. The mobile giant has the tradition to
call the upgrades of Android after desserts – Cupcake, Ice Cream Sandwich,
Jelly Bean and KitKat. Many of us are very curious about the final name of the
Android L update.
Thanks to the fellows of Android Police some information from
sources has leaked about this topic. It seems that the latest evidence point
the name Lemon Meringue Pie. In recent leaks the abbreviation LMP was spotted
in different items that refer to it. It is included in the preview SDK for the
Android L. Not to mention that the upcoming HTC Nexus tablet also confirms
those rumors in the filing for its Wi-Fi certification where LMP is included in
the section with details for the firmware.
Lemon Meringue Pie is only one of
the thousands of possibilities that Google might choose for the sweet name of
Android L. Among the most discussed suggestions are Lollipop, Lindor and
Lemonheads. Do you have your suggestions too?
few words
at the end: The next update of Google will satisfy the sweet tooth of Android
users despite of the name the mobile giant will choose for it.
