Nokia Lumia
630 is the new upcoming mid-ranger by the company. The special about it is that
it will run on Windows Phone 8.1 which makes it the first smartphone of the
Lumia family that works on the Microsoft’s mobile platform. Latest gossips
reveal that it will support dual-SIM and dual-standby capabilities. The model
is not officially introduced yet.
The announcement of Lumia 630 is expected to
happen in the beginning of April at the Microsoft BUILD conference when the
Windows Phone 8.1 will be presented as well. The closer we are getting to the
unveiling of the phone, the more rumors and leaks we will see appearing in the
digit world. The latest leak on the topic comes from China. Apparently the model has
appeared in the websites of some local retailers.
The leaks consist of pictures
and more details for the specs of the phone. Nokia Lumia 630 will feature a
4.5-inch WVGA display. It will sport a compact body with dimensions 129.5
x 66.7mm. Size-wise the phone
is with the same dimensions as its sibling Nokia Lumia 920. The processor
ticking under the hood of Lumia 630 is a quad-core CPU with Qualcomm Snapdragon
400 chip and 1GB RAM. The main camera that is set on the rare panel is with
5MP. Rumors say that it will have no flash or extra capabilities.
We will wait
and see. The new handset is expected to hit the markets in China in the
middle of April. The rumored price for Lumia 630 is CNY 1000(around $160).
