How many leaks and rumors have you read about the upcoming flagship of HTC in the last months? Yes, a lot! The new generation smartphone of the Taiwanese company succeeded to draw the attention of users before it was officially unveiled. The exciting new features expected in the model increased the excitement around the arrival of the HTC One (M8). Fortunately a lot of the rumors and speculations turned out to be true.
The phone
is officially presented by HTC and it seems that it will outrun the
expectations of users. The HTC One (M8) has similar design to its predecessor.
This is a great asset for the model, keeping in mind that the appearance of the
HTC One is much appreciated in the digit world. The new handset has a body made
of 90% metal which makes it more premium and pleasant for use.
The phone
boasts a 5-inch Super LCD3 1080p screen. It works with Snapdragon 801 chipset
as part of the configuration with a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz and 2GB of
RAM on board. The platform running the flagship is Android 4.4 KitKat with
Sense 6 on top of it. The camera of HTC One (M8) is located in the back and is
dubbed Duo Camera. The reason for this is because of the two sensors set on the
rare side of the phone. The primary shooter is an UltraPixel camera with 4MP
while the front snapper is with 5MP. HTC One (M8) will be available in two
variants in terms of storage – with 16GB and 32GB expandable with microSD slot.
The
connectivity capabilities of the flagship are impressive – 4G LTE, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, 3G, NFC etc. The battery of the phone is a 2600mAh cell. Among the
best qualities of HTC One (M8) is its long battery life thanks to the special
mode Power Saving Mode. HTC announced the model at two events in London and in New
York. It is already launched at price of $199.99 with
two year contract in most of the carriers in the States.
