The Entry-Level LG L70 is Available for Pre-Orders

The mid-ranged LG L70 is announced for pre-orders

In the end of February 2014 only days before the big annual event MWC in Barcelona, LG introduced the entry-level LG L70. The predecessor of the model is the famous LG Optimus L7 II. The new handset sports a 4.5-inch display, WVGA IPS with the modest resolution of 800 x 400 pixels. The pixel density is not mind-blowing, bit overall the phone delivers a pretty good picture quality for its category.

The processor that powers the phone is a dual-core CPU with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 and 1GB RAM. It has 4GB storage (expandable). One of the advantages of the L70 is the new operating system. It arrives with Android 4.4.2 KitKat pre-installed and abundance of apps and features that you will enjoy in your every day use.

The primary camera provides in the L70 is either 8MP or 5MP. The differences in the models vary in the different markets. The camera has LED flash and autofocus. On the front panel is located a VGA shooter, excellent for video calls. The connectivity features in L70 are GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and Wi-Fi. It works with 2100 mAh battery. The specs of the phone suggest that it will be offered at affordable price.

Back in February LG did not share the price tag for its new budget device. Now we finally have more information on this matter. The German retailers were among the first to announce their offers for LG L70. It can be pre-ordered from Amazon DE for €179. In the UK, the merchant Clove announced the deal for the phone for £165. The ePrice retailer in Taiwan has listed L70 for pre-orders for $163

The release date of the model still remains a mystery. The expectations suggest the 1st of April as the most possible date for the official arrival of the model on the mobile arena.
