Two new
smartphones running on Windows Phone 8.1 are launched from the US-based
manufacturer Yezz. The company is not among the most popular smartphone
producers. It is known mostly for its Android-running smartphones with
mid-ranged specs and appealing design. The two new additions to the Yezz’
family are: Yezz Billy 4.7 and Yezz Billy 4.0. You probably have already
guessed that the numbers after the names of the models point the sizes of the
screens.
The smaller
device is the Yezz Billy 4.0. The company revealed limited information for the
handset. It comes with a 4-inch screen. It is powered by a quad-core CPU. The camera
of the phone is with 8MP, located on the back. It runs on Windows Phone 8.1.
The price of Yezz Billy 4.0 is $139.
The bigger
model is the Yezz Billy 4.7. It is armored with a 4.7-inch screen with a
resolution of 720 pixels. It sports ultra thin body – only 7.2 mm in width.
Under the hood of the phone is ticking a quad core processor with Snapdragon
chipset. The operating system pre-installed on the handset is Windows Phone
8.1. It supports HSPA+ and dual-SIM. The Yezz Billy 4.7 features removable
backplates. The available colors for the phone are red, white and blue. It is
provided with a 13.1MP rare shooter. The model will be released in Latin
America and Europe for the price of $249 (€229).
Both new
models will land on the virtual shelves of Amazon exclusively in June. It is
great that users have more and more options to be a Windows Phone – powered
devices from different lines than Nokia Lumia, isn’t it?
