HTC One M8 Mini Spotted in a Leak

HTC One M8 Mini shows up in a leak

The last year’s flagship HTC One was accompanied by the released later HTC One Mini. In general the small-sized device has borrowed the appearance of its bigger sibling but in terms of specs and capabilities it is less powerful and impressive. Will a mini version of the new flagship join the digit world? It seems that it will! The rumors for the existence of HTC One M8 mini have been lingering on the web since the HTC One M8 was released.

Now a new leak coming up straight from the reliable source for digit news Weibo confirms the HTC One M8 Mini. The site even shows a photo that depicts the alleged device. It is “dressed” in a protective case so part of the appearance of the model is covered. However there is no doubt that the presented smartphone looks a lot like the HTC One M8 announced one month ago. The main difference between the design of the mini version and the flagship is the absence of a Duo camera on the rare panel of the One M8 Mini.

The small-sized smartphone is rumored to feature a 4.5-inch screen with a resolution of 720p. It works with a quad-core CPU ticking at 1.4GHz and Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip. The excellent performance of the model is achieved thanks to 1GB RAM as part of the configuration. It boasts 16GB storage on board. The operating system pre-installed on the One M8 Mini is Android 4.4 KitKat. HTC has customized the platform with Sense 6.0 UI. The main camera of the model is a rare shooter with 13MP. Rumors say that the sensor will not have the UltraPixel technology of HTC.

The new smartphone is expected to land on markets across the globe. The exact date for the announcement of the One M8 Mini is not known but the growing number of leaks definitely hints that it will soon debut in the digit world. In the US, the model will be released by Verizon, just like the flagship HTC One M8.

HTC One M8 in Red Shell and Kyocera Brigadier are Ready to Arrive in Verizon, Rumors Say

Red HTC One M8 and Kyocera Brigadier heading to Verizon

Red is one of the most extraordinary and attractive (in my opinion) color for elegant smartphones. When the HTC One M8 was announced one month ago the color red was not among the mentioned options for the flagship. Its predecessor, HTC One was eventually released in blue and red so the hopes for a red HTC One M8 are still there.

For all of you that just love red on smartphones @evleaks has good news – it seems that the extraordinary color will be available for the new star of HTC. Nothing is official yet but according to the tipster the HTC One M8 in red will be landing on the shelves of the US carrier Verizon. The leak shared by @evleaks consists of render photos of the model. This definitely means that the launching of the phone will happen sooner than later. For now rumors say that the red One M8 will be released by Verizon exclusively. There are no clues for the plans of HTC to introduce the model overseas. We will wait and see. One thing is certain though – the red looks just fabulous on the flagship and will be a nice addition to the currently available options of Glacial Silver, Gunmetal Gray and Amber Gold.

According to the leakster the US carrier Verizon will add another attractive device around the time it will launch the HTC One M8. It is the rugged smartphone Kyocera Brigadier. It runs on Android and sports a very unique rugged design. There is no information about the dates for the launching of the new models. The prices of the handsets are also a mystery, so stay tuned.
