The new flagship of the Korean manufacturer LG, the mighty LG G3 made its official debut few weeks ago with the promise to hit the US grounds in the second half of July. The good news is that all the major mobile operators in the country will offer the LG G3 with their own plans and deals. Thanks to @evleaks users can have a glimpse on the render photos of the flagship with all its variants for the carriers. As we can see from the photos some mobile operators, like Verizon follow the tradition to adorn the handset with plenty of its logo tattooed on the back and the front of the device.
Carriers like T-Mobile and AT&T have chosen to customize the G3 with less branding signs. The neatest model seems to be the LG G3 purposed for Sprint. The photos do not show any branding of Sprint on the exterior. Specs-wise the variants of the phone are based on the officially announced international version of the flagship.
Verizon’s variant sports slightly different rare panel. Rumors say that the difference might come from the provided wireless charging. The expected release dates for the US mobile operators are:
AT&T – 11th of July along with the LG G Watch
T-Mobile – 16th of July Verizon Wireless – 17th of July
Sprint – 18th of July
few words at the end: the only more exciting thing than the announcement of a new flagship is its releasing, do you agree?
Amazon
announced that it will hold a big event on 18th of June and right on
time in Seattle
the company unveiled its first model smartphone. The rumors that giant online
retailer is working on its own handset have been lingering on the web for some
time now. The earliest speculations and predictions suggested that Amazon might
choose a similar path for the phones to its budget series tablets Kindle Fire. Some
months ago it became clear that the company will enter the mobile arena with
something special rather than with something cheap.
The leaks
for the smartphone of Amazon made the hint for a very interesting device coming
up in the digit world. The rumor mill was delivering more and more gossips and
leaks about a phone with user interface with 3D effect, something unseen in the
mobile arena until now. The anticipation and the excitement for the debut of
the new handset were increasing with everyday and on 18th of June we
finally welcomed the Amazon Fire Phone.
The new
device comes with a user interface named Dynamic Perspective. It is less
exciting than what we expected to see but more interesting than what we are
used to use with the current smartphones and flagships. The Dynamic Perspective
UI works with four face cameras that track the movements of the eyes of the
user. The features enable users to initiate actions via simple moving of the
device. Those of you who remember the teaser video released by Amazon, one of
the participants expressed the user experience with “it moved with me.”
The Amazon
Fire Phone works with a 4.7-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 720p protected
with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core processor with
Snapdragon 800 silicon. The phone is provided with 2GB RAM. It comes with a
13MP camera sensor on the rare panel that works as an ordinary camera. One of
the special features provided by Amazon is the free unlimited photo storage on
the Amazon’s Cloud Drive.
The platform pre-installed on the handset is Amazon Fire OS which is the highly
customized user interface of the company based on Android. As expected the
retailer has added easy access to most of its services via the phone.
The
connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and LTE support. The
storage provided in the model is either 32GB or 64GB. There is no microSD slot
for expansion, but even the 32GB variant should be more than enough to store
your apps, music and files. The photos can be easily saved in the free cloud
space. The battery that gives juicy to the phone is with a capacity of 2400mAh.
Amazon has added great stereo speakers to the device. The earbuds have built-in
magnets and tangle-free cable.
Amazon Fire
Phone is already available for pre-orders from Amazon. It can be purchased
either on contract from AT&T for $199 for the 32GB variant or at full
retail price for $649. The new phone arrives in sleek black panel.
Earlier
this year Alcatel took the wraps off from the well endowed mid-ranger One Touch
Idol X+. The phone was officially released soon after that landing on different
markets across the world. One of the countries that have not received the
Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ is the US. When the phone was launched
there were rumors that it might make its way to the States as well but no
details were revealed to back-up the gossips.
Thanks to
the guys of Android Central, the news that the mid-ranger will be launched by
AT&T drew attention in the digit world. Apparently a set of photos of the
model purposed for AT&T were sent to Android Central. The leak with the pictures
is all the new information available at the moment. This means that we know the
One Touch Idol X+ is coming to the carrier, but we still don't know when, neither
we know the price tag for the phone.
The capable
handset arrives with a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1080p. It is powered
by an octa-core CPU clocked at 2GHz with MediaTek MT6592 chip. It has 2GB RAM
on board. The rare camera of the smartphone is with 13.1MP. LED flash and F2.0.
There is a 2MP front shooter. It supports GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi,
3G in terms of connectivity. The battery of the One Touch Idol X+ is a 2500mAh
cell.

high-end smartphones.
Samsung
Galaxy S5 Active is one of the variations of the flagship that is coming real
soon. Thanks to the numerous leaks from the last days the specs and appearance
of the model are no longer a secret.
If rumors
turn out to be true we will soon welcome the high-end smartphone outfitted in
metal frame and coated with rubber which will improve its water-resistant capabilities.
It is still not clear whether the Galaxy S5 Active will arrive with a 5.1 or
5.2-inch Super AMOLED screen. The resolution is 1080p. In the gut of the
smartphone is operating a quad-core CPU set at 2.46GHz with the powerful
Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip and 2GB RAM. The 16GB should provide you with
enough storage for pictures, apps, music and games. Just in case if it is not
enough the phone supports microSD cards.
The Galaxy
S5 Active runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. It comes with a 16MP camera on the
back with OIS instead of the Digital Image Stabilization that is provided in
the original flagship. One of the main advantages of the model is its improved
water and dust resistant capabilities. Rumors say that it is IP68 certified
which means it can keep working under 5 feet deep water for the impressive long
time of 60 min.
According
to the latest leaks the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will be released by the US
carrier AT&T. The other rumored mobile operator that is expected to launch
the phone is Sprint.
