Xiaomi Mi 4 Officially is the New Flagship of Xiaomi

Xiaomi Mi 4 is the star of the Chinese manufacturer for 2014. It is the improved version of the last year’s flagship Xioami Mi 3. The new handset sports the perfect size of the body 139.2 x 68.5 x 8.9 mm. According to the official data the model is water-resistant, so along with high-end device, users are getting a smartphone that will survive dipping into 1m water for up to 30 min. The screen of the Mi 4 is 5-inch IPS LCD with 1080p resolution. The model does not feature the QHD we got used to see in the newest flagships of the giant smartphone-makers, but have no doubts; the Xiaomi Mi 4 will not disappoint your expectations.

The new handset is armored with a quad-core processor. The chipset working under the hood is the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 801. The provided RAM is 3GB. Users will have the options to buy either Mi 4 with 16GB storage on board or the version of the phone with 64GB native memory. It is good to consider how much space you will need on your handset before buying it because the flagship does not support microSD cards. The platform pre-installed on the phone is Android 4.4 KitKat highly customized by the MIUI UI.

Xiaomi Mi 4 has two cameras. Both are impressive, but the capabilities of the front-facing shooter make the model stand out. On the face panel is armored an 8MP sensor. On the rare side is equipped the primary camera with 13MP and dual-LED flash. The connectivity capabilities of the new gladiator in the digit world include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and 4G LTE. The cell that provides juice for the Mi 4 is Li-Ion 3080mAh.

Xiaomi Mi 4 is outfitted with an elegant panel with stainless steel frame and attractive design. It comes in two main color versions – black and white. The backplates of the model are swappable. Xiaomi offers an impressive variety of backplates for the device, such as wood, leather and stone-textured.

How much do you think the new flagship costs? Xiaomi revealed that the pre-orders for the phone are scheduled for the end of the month. The unlocked device with 16GB will be available for 1999 yuan (equal to $320). If the Mi 4 with 64GB is more appealing for you, get ready to pay 2499 yuan (equal to $400).

few words at the end: Xiaomi Mi 4 arrives in the digit world with the ambition to outrun the success of Mi 3 and to win the competition against the flood of high-end smartphones available in China. Do you think it has it all to succeed?

Xiaomi Mi 3 Lands On the Markets in India

India seems to be one of the favorite destinations for the phones of Xiaomi. The company is launching three new smartphones on the market, each of them endowed with something special to offer for the mobile users in India. Xiaomi Mi 3, Redmi Note and Redmi 1S are landing on the markets in the country.

Xiaomi Mi 3 is the most advanced smartphone of the Chinese manufacturer until now. Of course, this will change soon with the arrival of Xiaomi Mi 4 later this month, but until then, the Mi 3 will fascinate the mobile users in India with its decent package of specs and capabilities. The phone comes with a 5-inch display, 1080p resolution. It boasts pixel density of 441ppi. The processor equipped in the model is a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. The configuration includes also Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB RAM. The Mi 3 features 16GB storage.

It is running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with MIUI 5 on top of it. This is a bit disappointing for users who would expect to see newer platform running on the phone but that is the way it is. Jelly Bean instead of KitKat is what the phone assures and one of the reasons why it comes at competitive price. The main camera is a 13MP sensor on the back. It has a 2MP sensor on the front panel. The battery of the Xiaomi Mi 3 is with a capacity of 3050mAh.

The phone is the first of the trio that is launching in India. It is offered exclusively through Flipkart at price of Rs 13999 ($233) off-contract.

few words at the end: Xiaomi is one of the manufacturers that introduces loads of its models outside China.

Xiaomi Mi 3 Offered at New Lower Price

Xiaomi Mi 3 is available at lower price

Xiaomi is one of the most popular manufacturers in China, mainly for its highly affordable and very capable mid-rangers. The released Xiaomi Mi 3 in Q4 last year is a great example for the strategy of the company to make its users happy by offering a lot in a smartphone at relatively low price. The model quickly became one of the most widely used handsets.

Xiaomi recently announced its plans to introduce the model outside China. In the next 8 months the Mi 3 will land on the markets in India, Russia, Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Mexico, Vietnam, Turkey and Thailand. There is great news for all of you that just love the decent mid-rangers. Xiaomi slashes down the prices of the Mi 3 models. The 16GB version of the phone now costs $270 (down from $327). The model with 64GB can be purchased for $320.

The interesting about Xiaomi Mi 3 is that it comes in several different versions. One of them works with a quad-core CPU Cortex-A15 with Tegra 4 chip. It is released by China Mobile. The other option is armored with a quad-core Krait 400 with Snapdragon 800 chip. It is available for purchase in China Unicom.

A quick reminder for the specs of Xiaomi Mi 3 includes a 5-inch display with a 1080p resolution. It runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean with MIUI v5 on top of it. The main camera of the phone is a rare 13MP sensor. It features a 2MP front camera as well. The cutting of the price for the model will make it more competitive against the recently revealed OnePlus One that costs $299 (for the 16GB smartphone) and $349 for the model with 64GB.
