Since Samsung Galaxy K zoom aka the new high-end camera-phone of Samsung arrived in the digit world, there are two questions users are eager to know – when it will be available for sales and how much it will cost? Samsung was not in a hurry to reveal any of those questions when it officially took the wraps off from the model. The excitement is building up rapidly. Today, Samsung finally took us out of the misery and shared the news that the high-end camera-phone will be ready for sales in Europe around the middle of May. Germany is one of the luckiest countries that will get the model first at the price of €519 without commitment.
The experts
reveal that even though those costs for the phone make the hint for similar
price in the US
(around $720) there is a good chance for Samsung to offer the model at cheaper
price of $600. We will wait and see. Meantime, if you have forgotten all the
goodies that the Galaxy K zoom has to offer for the fans of advanced phones, we
will refresh your memory. It comes with a smaller and more modest screen than
its sibling Galaxy S5, which means that you receive 4.8-inch device with Super
AMOLED screen, 720p. The hexa-core CPU with Exynos 5269 chip courtesy of
Samsung is paired with 2GB to handle all the tasks you will do with your phone
and its awesome camera capabilities. Speaking of camera, the most noticeable
and the must-describe feature of the model is its 20.7MP sensor set on the back
of the device with Xenon and LED flash. It does make it look bulky but for the
10x optical zoom it offers we can make this compromise. There are 8GB storage
which is kind of disappointing, so before you start testing your phone we
definitely recommend adding a microSD card with storage.
The Galaxy
K zoom supports LTE, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G etc. The phone
arrives with the newest Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed and provides all the
great features that the TouchWiz OS of Samsung offers for you.
