Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will Land on the Shelves of AT&T and Sprint, rumors say

Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is one of the variations of the flagship that is coming real soon. Thanks to the numerous leaks from the last days the specs and appearance of the model are no longer a secret.

If rumors turn out to be true we will soon welcome the high-end smartphone outfitted in metal frame and coated with rubber which will improve its water-resistant capabilities. It is still not clear whether the Galaxy S5 Active will arrive with a 5.1 or 5.2-inch Super AMOLED screen. The resolution is 1080p. In the gut of the smartphone is operating a quad-core CPU set at 2.46GHz with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip and 2GB RAM. The 16GB should provide you with enough storage for pictures, apps, music and games. Just in case if it is not enough the phone supports microSD cards.

The Galaxy S5 Active runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. It comes with a 16MP camera on the back with OIS instead of the Digital Image Stabilization that is provided in the original flagship. One of the main advantages of the model is its improved water and dust resistant capabilities. Rumors say that it is IP68 certified which means it can keep working under 5 feet deep water for the impressive long time of 60 min.

According to the latest leaks the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will be released by the US carrier AT&T. The other rumored mobile operator that is expected to launch the phone is Sprint
