Xolo is one
of the major smartphone-makers in India. The company is popular for
its affordable mid-rangers. The latest addition of Xolo boasts mid-ranged specs
packed in an extraordinary panel. Apart from the majority of the smartphones
released by the company that sport plastic bodies, the Xolo Q1020 is outfitted
with a wooden frame. The new device has a 5-inch IPS glass with a resolution of
720p. The pixel density of the screen is 294ppi which is decent for a low-end
device. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is provided on top of it to protect it.
The
handset works with a quad-core MediaTek chip set at 1.3GHz and paired with 1GB
RAM. The Xolo Q1020 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It is provided with 8GB
native memory and a microSD slot for memory cards. On the rare side of the
phone is adorned with a 13MP camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor and LED flash. On
the front side lies a 2MP snapper. Xolo Q1020 is powered by a 2100mAh battery
in its gut. The connectivity features of the model include HSPA+, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, GPS etc. The new phone has dual-SIM capabilities. The smartphone
with extraordinary design costs Rs. 11499 unlocked (around $187). It is coming
for sells in India
and for now there is no information whether it will be introduced to more
