LG unveiled its first smartwatch LG G Watch without announcing the detailed sheet of its specs. The new wearable tech is expected to hit the markets later this year. Hopefully the manufacturer will reveal a bit more about the device before it is available for purchase. Google will present the first devices powered by its special platform Android Wear at the annual conference Google I/O 2014 in the end of June. This is the event when there is a good chance to learn more about the G Wear.
The discussions and rumors about the smartwatch
are very intense. There are rumors that the wearable device will provide a USIM
module that makes it capable to make calls. This is an extraordinary feature
for a smartwatch. The advanced timepiece will be released first in South Korea by
the LG U+ mobile operator. Not long ago LG UK shared the juicy information
that the smartwatch will hit the markets in July. The price for the G Watch is
expected to be cheaper than €220. What do we know about the smartwatch until now?
It is named
LG G Watch and it comes with a 1.65-inch display with a resolution of 280x280
pixels. It works with 512MB RAM on board and arrives with 4GB native memory. It
runs on Android Wear.
