The prepaid
mobile operator Cricket Wireless is launching the entry-level smartphone ZTE
Grand X on 8th of August. The cash that you will pay for the budget
phone is $99.99 which is the reduced price with $50 mail-in rebate. The Grand X
is a 5-incher. It works with a dual-core CPU ticking at 1.2GHz with Qualcomm
Snapdragon chipset.
The software
that powers the low-end device is Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The cameras equipped
in the entry-level model are two – 1MP for video calls and 5MP on the back. The
battery of Grand X is with a capacity of 2300mAh. One of the advantages of the
model is the Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0. This feature provides 40% faster
charging of the phone compared to handsets packed with the same battery and
similar hardware. The new phone has SRS TruMedia surround sound. ZTE Grand X is
joining the rich palette of budget smartphones offered by Cricket Wireless,
such as ZTE Sonata.
