The Chinese company ZTE is primarily known in the digit world for its entry level and very affordable smartphones and devices. This is about the change. The latest additions of the company clearly show that ZTE is ready to enter the mobile arena for the high-end devices. The manufacturer officially revealed the ZTE Redbull handset.
It is
armored with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720p. In the heart of the
model is working a quad-core processor with Snapdragon chip (MSM8226). It
arrives with 1GB RAM on board and 4GB native memory. ZTE will release an Energy
variant of the Redbull packed with 2GB RAM and double more storage – 8GB. Both
models support microSD cards. The main camera of the smartphone is a rare 13MP
Sony CMOS sensor.
It is
powered by a 2400mAh battery. Among the key features of the phone is its
support for LTE connectivity. The price of the new addition of the large ZTE
family is 799 yuan (around $130). The Energy version will be available for
purchase for 999 yuan (around $160).
For now ZTE
will introduce the Redbull in its home country – China. Even though the company has
not confirmed that the model will be launched to other markets as well, rumors
say that there is a chance to see landing in the US. Stay tuned.
