BLU is renowned for its mid-ranged Android-running smartphones. The company
enters the arena of the LTE-enabled handsets with its newest addition, the BLU
Studio 5.0 LTE. It is provided with a 5-inch IPS screen with 960 x 540 pixels
resolution. The pixel density is 220ppi. The handset works with a quad-core
1.4GHz processor with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. There is 1GB RAM. The
inside memory of the phone is 4GB and before you ask – yes, there is a microSD
slot for adding of more storage.

5.0 LTE runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The company has scheduled an update
with Android 4.3 in the near future. The main camera of the smartphone is with
8MP, set on the rare panel. It has AF and LED flash. The camera can record
1080p video. On the front panel is provided a 1.6MP shooter. The connectivity
features include support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G HSPA+, GPS and 4G LTE. The
phone is launched by T-Mobile and the MVNO companies of the carrier, like the
MetroPCS.
The BLU
Studio 5.0 LTE comes in bright colors – Fashion-Orange, Neon-Yellow,
Ceramic-White and Glimmer-Pink. The price of the new mid-ranger is $249. It is
expected to be launched in few weeks from now. Except T-Mobile, the phone will
be available in retailers across the country, like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon
etc.
