HTC released a smaller and a bigger version to its flagship HTC One, called HTC
One Mini and HTC One Max. Both devices have the appearance of the original
model and provide fulfilling user experience fitted in different size. Will HTC
embark on the same route with its new flagship HTC One (M8)?
The rumors
for the arrival of a mini variant of the new smartphone are appearing on the
Internet since the first leaks for this year’s flagship. Even though the
gossips are not confirmed by HTC yet, the leaks and the speculations on the
topic point that HTC One (M8) Mini will soon join its bigger sibling.
The latest
rumors about the device come straight from Taiwan revealing that the HTC One
(M8) Mini will be released in May. The smaller version of the flagship is
expected to feature a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 720 pixels. Under
the hood of the mini is ticking a quad-core CPU with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400
chip set at 1.7GHz. It works with 1GB RAM. The native storage assured in the
device is 16GB. HTC One (M8) Mini boasts a 13MP main camera on the back. The
operating system pre-installed in the model is Android 4.4 KitKat and of
course, the interface of HTC, Sense 6.0.
The
smartphone will compete against other affordable Android-based handsets, like
Motorola Moto G. If rumors turn out to be true we have only few more weeks to
wait until we see the One (M8) Mini ready to hit the markets.
