In the growing world of wearable tech, the launching of the Google Glass is one of the most anticipated events. The advanced eye-wear is a long-term project of the mobile giant as part of the Glass Explorer program. Google slowly but steadily is improving the capabilities of the Glass with every update it rolls-out. The company is working hard on presenting the advantages of the Glass and its benefits from integration in different spheres of people’s lives, from medicine, to driving to every day tasks.
The
launching of the eye-wear is expected to happen later in the year. Rumors say
that the newest feature that Google is adding to the Glass is the Google Wallet
support. The company recently included the Wallet in the Gmail giving the
opportunity to users to perform easy and fast transactions. The users of Google
Glass will also be able to send and receive money to their friends. As expected
there will be a voice command for the operation… “Send money.” For now the
feature is available only to users that are signed in to the Google’s corporate
network. Hopefully soon more Glass wearers will be able to use the practical
feature. The possibilities of the advanced eye-wear are expanding rapidly. We
cannot wait to see what the next improvement of the Glass will be. Stay tuned.
