Gionee W900
is the rumored unannounced smartphone that is expected to feature two displays
and an impressive combination of specs. It was recently spotted in the database
of TENAA, which is the equivalent of FCC in the US. The entry reveals more details
about the upcoming device. The Gionee W900 boasts a pair of 4-inch screen with
resolutions of 1080p. When we do the math, the pixel density of the displays is
the striking 550ppi.
The panel of the handset is only 14.8mm thick and 172
grams of weight. In the gut of the phone works a quad-core processor ticking at
1.5GHz. The chipset is not revealed in the database. We do know that it has 2GB
RAM and 16GB native memory assured in the upcoming smartphone. The Gionee W900
is running on Android 4.4 KitKat.
The battery provided in the phone is with a
capacity of 2050mAh. The camera on the back is 13MP and there is a 5MP
front-facing snapper. It supports LTE connectivity. The launch date for the
dual-screen handset is still unknown but it seems it is one step closer to its
official debut. The expectations suggest that Gionee will offer the smartphone
