The Chinese
manufacturer ZTE introduced the mid-ranged smartphone ZTE Grand S II in India. It provides
a 5.5-inch, 1080p glass. The OS that is pre-installed on the model is the
relatively outdated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Keeping in mind that most of the
main rivals of the Grand S II run on 4.4 KitKat, the platform working on the
phone is not among its strong sides.
It seems that ZTE is not planning to
update the model to the 4.4 KitKat but the good news is that it will be
upgraded to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Hardware-wise the model delivers great
performance thanks to its quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor paired
with 2GB RAM.
It comes with 16GB memory. It supports usage of microSD cards for
adding of more gigabytes storage. ZTE Grand S II boasts a 13MP camera on the
rear side. On the front panel is set a 2MP front sensor. In terms of support for
connectivity features the new mid-ranger has GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi and 3G.
The battery of the device is a not-removable cell with a capacity of 3100mAh. The
phone is up-for-grabs on Amazon India.
It costs Rs 13999 (around $225) and comes in black.
few words
at the end: ZTE Grand S II is the new addition of the Chinese manufacturer that
has a lot to offer for its price.
