Xolo Q900s Plus is Officially Presented

Xolo is one of the biggest manufacturers in India. The company recently released the mid-ranger Xolo Q900s. The newest addition of the manufacturer is the 4.7-inched Xolo Q900s Plus. It sports a compact panel that tips the scale on 100 grams. 

For some unknown reason Xolo announced the handset as the “world’s lightest phone.” Perhaps the claiming of titles is the new trend in the digit world. The dimensions of the entry-level phone are 135.8 x 67.2 x 7.2mm. Q900s Plus is powered by a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chip. It boasts 1GB RAM and Adreno 302 GPU as part of the configuration. The storage tucked in the device is 8GB. Users have the option to expand it by adding microSD cards. 

Xolo Q900s Plus is packed with a 8MP rare snapper with LED flash paired with 2MP camera on the front. The new handset is outfitted with a 1800mAh battery. Connectivity-wise the features that the entry-level device supports are Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, and Bluetooth. The phone is getting released in black. It is already listed in the official website of Xolo at price of Rs 8299 (around $133). The launch date is still unknown but there is no doubt that it will be sooner than later. Stay tuned.

BlackBerry recently introduced a new mid-ranger with the classic QWERTY keyboard that so many users appreciate and prefer for their mobile devices. The BlackBerry Classic has borrowed a lot from its predecessors, like its design, the QWERTY keyboard etc. 

The advantage of the new handset is the latest software BlackBerry 10.3 running on it. BlackBerry Classic is outfitted with a 3.46-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 720p. On the inside of the mid-ranger is ticking dual-core silicon clocked at 1.5GHz. The configuration includes 2GBRAM and Adreno 225 GPU. It boasts 16GB of storage out of the box. The memory is expandable. BlackBerry Classic has a 8MP camera located on the back side. On the face panel lies a 2MP camera. 

The phone is capable to work during the whole day in normal usage thanks to the 2515mAh cell. BlackBerry Classic is listed for pre-orders for $449. BlackBerry announced the phone in black but the latest news about the BlackBerry Classic reveal that there will be a white version as well. The shipping date for the model is 17th of December.

Amazon India is Releasing the Mid-Ranger ZTE Grand S II

The Chinese manufacturer ZTE introduced the mid-ranged smartphone ZTE Grand S II in India. It provides a 5.5-inch, 1080p glass. The OS that is pre-installed on the model is the relatively outdated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Keeping in mind that most of the main rivals of the Grand S II run on 4.4 KitKat, the platform working on the phone is not among its strong sides. 

It seems that ZTE is not planning to update the model to the 4.4 KitKat but the good news is that it will be upgraded to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Hardware-wise the model delivers great performance thanks to its quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 2GB RAM. 

It comes with 16GB memory. It supports usage of microSD cards for adding of more gigabytes storage. ZTE Grand S II boasts a 13MP camera on the rear side. On the front panel is set a 2MP front sensor. In terms of support for connectivity features the new mid-ranger has GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi and 3G. The battery of the device is a not-removable cell with a capacity of 3100mAh. The phone is up-for-grabs on Amazon India. It costs Rs 13999 (around $225) and comes in black.

Gionee W900 is the rumored unannounced smartphone that is expected to feature two displays and an impressive combination of specs. It was recently spotted in the database of TENAA, which is the equivalent of FCC in the US. The entry reveals more details about the upcoming device. The Gionee W900 boasts a pair of 4-inch screen with resolutions of 1080p. When we do the math, the pixel density of the displays is the striking 550ppi. 

The panel of the handset is only 14.8mm thick and 172 grams of weight. In the gut of the phone works a quad-core processor ticking at 1.5GHz. The chipset is not revealed in the database. We do know that it has 2GB RAM and 16GB native memory assured in the upcoming smartphone. The Gionee W900 is running on Android 4.4 KitKat. 

The battery provided in the phone is with a capacity of 2050mAh. The camera on the back is 13MP and there is a 5MP front-facing snapper. It supports LTE connectivity. The launch date for the dual-screen handset is still unknown but it seems it is one step closer to its official debut. The expectations suggest that Gionee will offer the smartphone in China. Price remains to be revealed.
