The New Outstanding Additions of Samsung – Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Tablets

One of the biggest events from the last week in the digit world was the announcement of the first generation tablets of the new line Samsung Galaxy Tab S. What is so special about those models? The answer is easy – they are armored with impressive Super AMOLED displays. The main benefit for users is the superior visual experience delivered by the tablets with vivid colors with brilliant contrast and saturation.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 bring all the goodies that Samsung traditionally provides for its high-end devices. This means that the tablets stand out with fascinating designs, powerful hardware, capable and modern software and plenty of innovative features.

The smaller model is the 8.4-incher dubbed Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Just like its bigger sibling, the slate is dressed in ultra thin panel with dimensions 212.8 x 125.6 x 6.6 mm. The glass equipped in the tablet is Super AMOLED with WQXGA 2560 x 1600p resolution. For those of you that want more details for the display, I will mention that it features higher pixel density of 359ppi compared to the 288ppi for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.5

The processors integrated under the hood of both models are two variants. The models with LTE connectivity work with a quad-core CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.3GHz. On the inside of the Wi-Fi-only tablets is ticking an octa-core processor with quad cores set at 1.3GHz and the other four quads ticking at 1,9GHz. There is 3GB RAM for brilliant performance. The options for storage in the tablets are two – either 16GB or 32GB memory (expandable).

Both new tablets arrive with Android 4.4 KitKat OS pre-installed. Samsung has customized it with Magazine UX that brings some of the most popular features, like S Voice, Multi Windows split-screen view etc. The cameras of the first generation of the Galaxy Tab S line are very decent. On the back is provided 8MP sensor with LED flash while on the front stands a 2.1MP camera for video calls. The high-end devices support a broad range of connectivity features, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE for the particular enabled models.

The difference in the size of the displays reflects on the difference in the capacity of the batteries. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 by a 4900mAh cell. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 works with a 7900mAh battery. If I have to describe the availability of the tablets when they get launched in a few weeks, it will be – worldwide. The price of the Wi-Fi variant Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is $399 while the larger model will be available for $499.

The innovative feature that is worth mentioning is the fingerprint scanner located at the Home button. The tablets will be offered in Titanium Bronze and Dazzling White with faux leather accents on the back plates.

few words at the end: Galaxy Tab S are the first tablets of Samsung that deliver such an impressive visual experience for users.
