LG is among
the big companies in the digit world that is working on its own model
smartwatch. In fact the latest rumors suggest that the manufacturer is planning
to release a second smartwatch soon after the first one hit the markets. Thanks
to the guys from Pocket-lint we can share the latest news that the LG G Watch
will be released in Q2 2014 and the UK users will have the chance to
purchase it before July.
There is
still no information about when the smartwatch will be released in the rest of
the markets. The price of the G Watch will be lower than £180 (less than $300). The latest
prototype of the advanced timepiece of LG sports an attractive design with
compact body. It does not feature any physical keys. Users will have the
opportunity to change straps.
According
to the gossips the G Watch will arrive with a 1.56-inch screen. It will provide
4GB native storage. It will be the first gadget that works on the newest
platform of Google especially designed for wearable tech – the Android Wear. For
now this is all the available information about the smartwatch. Hopefully the
closer we are getting to the release of the device, the more details will
surface in the digit world. Stay tuned.
