The 4" Joy by Oppo

Oppo Joy arrives in Indonesia

The Oppo Find 7 is one of the big stars of the year so far, packed with awesome camera, powerful processor and operating system and loads of high-end specs. Even though we love the most modern and capable flagships the high price for the smartphones is a real obstacle for many of us to have one of those babies!

Fortunately Oppo has something to offer for the fans of mid-ranged devices that provide decent features and capabilities and come at affordable prices. The company has just unveiled the budget smartphone Oppo Joy that will bring joy to users in Indonesia. The manufacturer has not revealed whether it will release the phone in more markets eventually or not. We will wait and see.

Meantime it is good to know what joy the handset can bring with its capabilities and specs. The Oppo Joy provides a 4-inch WVGA screen. It is powered by a dual-core CPU with 1.3GHz power and works with Mali 400 GPU and 512MB RAM. The platform that is pre-installed on the model is the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. As expected the company has added its own features and touches to the operating system with the Color OS user interface. The storage assures in Oppo Joy is only 4GB but microSD is included, so don’t worry that you will not have enough space for your music and pictures. Speaking of photos, the main camera of the Joy is not that joyful – only 3MP, set on the back. The mid-ranger is equipped with a 0.3MP shooter on the face panel that works just great for video calls. The battery of the new phone is with a capacity of 1700mAh. It supports a lot of connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HSPA+ and GPS. It has dual-SIM capabilities.

The Oppo Joy will be released real soon. The price of the handset is $138 and it will be available in the classic colors – black and white.
