In the end of the
last year Windows Phone users finally welcomed the first high-end
phablet running on the platform Nokie Lumia 1520 and its more modest
sibling the Nokia Lumia 1320. More than six months after it release
in October 2013, Lumia 1320 is ready to hit the markets in the US.
The mobile operator that is launching the phablet is Cricket
Wireless. The release date is 13th
of June. Customers of the carrier can buy the attractive large-sized
model for $229.99 calculated after a $50 mail-in rebate.
The Nokia Lumia 1320
stands out with a 6-inch screen with 720p resolution. It is powered
by a dual-core CPU ticking at 1.7GHz. The storage in the phablet is
8GB and there is a microSD slot for expansion. The model runs on
Windows Phone 8 the GDR 3 update. It has a 5MP camera on the back
side. Among the key features of the phablet is the support for 4G
LTE.
If we compare it to
the high-end Nokia Lumia 1520, the Lumia 1320 definitely steps back.
However for users that are looking for a large and affordable
smartphone running on Microsoft’s platform, the phablet is a great
choice. The market of the Windows Phone-powered models is expanding
rapidly this year. Most of the main players in the digit world are
preparing their own smartphones powered by the Microsoft’s mobile
OS.
few words at the end: the
good deal is a good deal.. grab it when you spot it.
