The New Additions of Acer


The Computex expo begun on 3rd of June and took place in Taipei, Taiwan. Some of the biggest companies that participated at the event unveiled their new models a few days before the beginning of the expo. Acer is one of those manufacturers. If we use a few words to describe the models that the company is announcing, we would say there is a little of everything – low-end, high-end smartphones, a tablet and a wearable device. 
 

The smallest smartphone in size is the Acer Liquid Z200 packed with a 4-inch WVGA screen. It is a n entry-level phone running on Android 4.4 KitKat. The model supports dual-SIM ad it is expected to hit the markets in Q3. There is a 2MP rare sensor. 
 

Three new Acer phones with 5-inch displays enter the digit world. Acer Liquid E600 is powered by a quad-core processor. It works on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The model is armored with an 8MP sensor on the rare panel. Its main advantage is the support for LTE Cat 4 connectivity. The Liquid E600 is arriving in Q3 this year. 
 

Acer Liquid E700 has the same size display. It works with a quad-core CPU under the hood. There are only 4GB storage on board but they can be expanded via microSD slot. The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. A cell with 3500mAh capacity gives power to the phone. Its main advantage is the support for triple-SIM. It is also scheduled for release in Q3. 


Last but not least from the 5-inch phones of the manufacturer is the Acer Liquid Jade. It sports unique curved body and comes with a HD display. Onj the back of the phone is set a 13MP camera paired with 0.3MP sensor on the front. It is very slim – only 7.5mm. The phone runs on the latest update of the Google's platform – 4.4 KitKat. Just like the rest of the new additions, it is scheduled for launching in the third quarter of 2014.  
 

Acer Liquid X1 comes with a 5.7-inch screen and an octa-core CPU ticking under the hood paired with 2GB RAM. It supports LTE Cat 4 connectivity. The front sensor of the phabket is with 2MP. The main camera is with 13MP. It boasts the so called “one-hand control software.” The Liquid X1 supports LTE Cat 4 and you probably already guessed that it is going for sells in Q3. 


Acer Liquid Leap is the smartband of the company that is armored with 1-inch touchscreen. The wearable gadget is made from rubber material. It has the capabilities of a fitness tracker – counts calories steps, monitors the sleeping cycle, displays notifications and incoming calls etc. it is waterproof. The Liquid Leap uses Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. The battery provided in the gadget keeps it functional for around 7 days. 


The newly announced tablet of Acer is the 8-inch Acer Iconia Tab 8. It boasts a resolution of 1080p. In the heart of the slate is working a quad-core CPU with Intel Atom Z3745 chip. The platform running on the tablet is Android 4.4 KitKat. It provides the standard features for a mid-ranged slate, including rare and front cameras, microSD slot and a battery that gives it juice for the whole day. The model comes in a panel with anodized silver metal rare cover. It will land on the markets in Q3. 
All the new additions are coming to countries across Europe and Asia.
