HTC J Butterfly Based on HTC One M8 Goes Official in Japan

HTC J Butterfly arrives in the digit world in Japan

HTC J Butterfly is the new addition to one of the major carriers in Japan, KDDI. The model is a version of the flagship HTC One M8 announced in spring. The J Butterfly boasts some different features and capabilities. For example, it comes in a waterproof panel. The model doesn’t have the BoomSound speakers but HTC provides a top-notch JBL in-ear headset that should make up for the absent feature.

The screen of J Butterfly is with 5-inch diagonal with 1080p resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset paired with 2GB RAM. The storage on the inside is the impressive 32GB and in case they are not enough for all your apps, pictures and music you can always add more via microSD cards. The new smartphone belongs to the Android family running on 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

On the back of the handset is set a unique Duo Camera with 13MP. The HTC J Butterfly does not provide the same 4MP UltraPixel Duo Camera that the HTC One M8 has, but you will not be disappointed by the picture quality and the features provided in the 13MP shooter. On the front is set a 5MP camera. The model supports all the expected connectivity features along with 4G LTE. The launch date and the price of HTC J Butterfly are not unveiled yet, but it is announced that it is launching this month.

few words at the end: HTC J Butterfly has loads of the advantages of One M8 and the advantages of water- and dust-proof body.
